• This rope-way gear is 3000 mm dia and weighs 7.5 MT. • Gear Teeth were damaged and ropeway was shut down . • Spare was not available and delivery period for new supply was 18 months. • Special fixture and tooling was used to do this job. Tooth profile was matched with the pinion for faultless operation. • The gear gave a life of more than 10 years.
